Album news… Grand Atlantic have completed their new album, entitled ‘How We Survive’. The album was recorded with Scott Mullane and mixed by uber-producer Magoo in Brisbane in September and October. The first single from the record will be ‘Tripwires’ which will be launched at The Troubadour on the 7th November; shows in other cities are being planned. We anticipate a release date some time in February 2009, and will post dates here as they are confirmed. The album is more rock-orinted than their debut, and contains some very strong songs indeed…

Meanwhile, Andrew Petersen is continuing to record his debut solo album – more tracks have been laid down with Magoo at his home studio, and producer Ian Thompson and Andrew will complete the remaining tracks over the next few months. Again, there is some very accomplished songwriting going on, and the while the results are slow to arrive, they will be impressive.
