Touring, touring , touring. It’s fun, isn’t it? Living in a stinky van, driving all day, playing at night and drinking with strangers…

OK, enough of that. My Scarlet Darling are putting in the hard yards in the UK at present, and in the absence of anything else, you should get out to see them. Right away. No excuses. For full tour dates, see our shows page or www.myspace.com/myscarletdarling – sign up as a friend while you’re there – the reports coming in are glowing, to say the least. We told you so…

The new My Scarlet Darling album is finished, finally, and on it’s way to be pressed. UK release is set for the end of October, with other countries still to be decided. And this album is a surprise – tough, brash, muscular and swaggering, but still really personal, direct and almost intimate. You’ll see what we mean when you hear it. It’s been on high rotation in the office here and nobody has said “turn it off” – always a good sign.

You can download the first single (exclusively at http://www.karmadownload.com/artist/?26366 ) and we have also made available 8 live tracks recorded earlier this year. Again, exclusively on KarmaDownload.

Also in the good news bin is the welcome fact that the new album from Grand Atlantic (formerly Tonjip) is complete, and about to be mixed under the watchful eyes of mix engineer Scott Mullane. It won’t be out till ’06, but it’ll be worth waiting for…
